PRESENTATIONS.
On Monday evening a large numbe* of residents of Cooper's Creek and the surrounding districts gathered at a social in the Cooper's Creek School, to bid farewell to Mr and Mrs T. Harle and Massrs W. and J. Harle. Mr J. R. Youngman, on behalf of the residents, presented to Mr and Mrs T. Harle a silver tea and coffee service, * to Mr W. Harle a Kaiapoi rug and to Mr J. Harle a travelling bag. He referred in eulogistic terms to the sterling qualities of the Harle family. Mr T. Becker, on behalf of the Miniature Rifle Club, with which the Messrs Harle have been closely identified, presented Mr T. Harle with a pipe, Mr W. Harle with a bound volume of poems, and' Mr J. Harle with a thermos flask.
