PLUNGED HEADLONG TO EARTH.

Two Sopwith biplanes, while flying at Aldershot on a perfect evening, collided over the golf links in full view of hundreds.
The machines nlunged headlong and were smashed to atoms.
Captain Anderson, Private Carter and a mechanic were killed.
Lieutenant Wilson, the pilot of the other aeroplane had a wonderful escape, though he was seriously hurt.
