A THEORY SCOUTED.

DYNAMITE OUTSIDE MAYOR’S OFFICES. “PLOT” AGAINST MR W. J. GAYNOR. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, August 21. A New York message says that sticks of dynamite were found outside the offices of Mr W. J. Gaynor, Mayor of New York, at the City Hall, indicating a plot against his life, but the police scout this theory. CONFLICTING VIEWS. (Received August 22, 9.45 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 22.
