SIR JOSEPH WARD AND THE EXECUTIVE. [From Ouii Coubespondent.] WELLINGTON, August 22. • Sir Joseph Ward will meet the executive of the Liberal Party at the earliest opportunity. It may perhaps be several days before any definite' announcement is mado of tho leadership, but\it is understood that Sip Joseph Ward will decline, on the ground that he is not prepared to take oyer the leadership at the present juncture.
