The following entries, have been received for the ram fair which is to be held on the Metropolitan Show Grounds on Thursday and Friday, March 27 and 28:—Lincoln 29, English Leicester 2324, Border Leicester 333, Romnoy Marsh 50, Southdown 306, Shropshire 275, Merino 11, Ryeland 35, Corriedalo 802, half-bred 119, Wensleydale 3; total, 4287. The entries for the 1912 ram fair totalled 4579.

In connection with the annual show of the Oxford Agricultural and Pastoral Association, to be held oh April 10, the following have been appointed class stewards: Draught horses, Messrs L. Ancall and A. Fantham; light horses, Messrs F. Wotherspoon, T. C. Home and D. M'Grath; cobs and ponies, Mr T. Cooper'; fat sheep, Messrs W. J. Reed and P. H. Thompson; store sheep,. Messrs L. Powell, James Wotherspoon and E. W. Meyer; cattle, Messrs Alec Baxter and R. Davis; pigs, Mr R. Davis; dogs, Mr H. G. Parish; poultry, Mr George Winter; grain and seeds, Messrs F. Englebrecht and J. Cross; roots, Messrs T. Harle and W. Ryde; competitions, Messrs R. J. Gilchrist, H. T. Cooper and August Meyer; house and dairy produce, Messrs W. Reynolds, T. Blain and G. Leahy; flowers and fruit, Mesdames H. Thompson, F. Meyer and A. Henderson and Messrs Gamsford and P." Fisher; fancy work, Mesdames H. T. Cooper and H. Luers; wcifslit-gnesainfl, Mr Alfred Stubbs; shearing competition, Mr C. Sknrr. The Ground Committee is effecting numerous improvements on the show grounds. The judging oral is being levelled, additional cattle pens are being erected, and the sheep pens are being removed tp a more convenient situation, giving additional accommodation for the public in the vicinity of the oval.
