ASHBURTON CLUB. The Ashburton Croquet Cfilb erected » pavilion for tho uso of tho playefft on th* grounds in tho Domain. On Saturday tho opening ceremony was performed by Mr T. Bullock, tho president, who congratulated tho club on the improvements. It was stated that the pavilion had cost £SO, and tho wholo of tho amount, with tho exception of £9, had been raised. Friendly games were played before and after the ceremony, and afternoon tea was provided.
