Mr Ramsay MacDonald in a letter vigorously protests against the suffragettes' disgraceful conduct in prison, which in no way represents the opinion of tho majority of working women, whoso wellbeing is being cruelly sacrificed by this "tomfoolery, which is the creation of women who were able to throw £IO,OOO into the plate at the Albert Hall at a minute's notice." Ho concludes by stating that the cause is being ruined. RELEASED. Mr Petbick Lawrence, the suffragist, has been released.
