I ANNUAL MEETING. The nineteenth annual meeting of th« I Ghristchurch Savage Club and the I opening korero of the season was held, last evening. • Dr P. C. Fenwick, thr' retiring president, was in the chair. ' j The report, which was adopted, i * corded a successful season of sixte J well-attended koreros. The roll hum* . was 228. The vocal and instrumental items given at the koreros had been quite up to standard, and there was a pleasing increase of Maori and original productions. Spscial koreros had been held to celebrate Empire night and the Coronati.cn. The ladies' korero in tho Art Gallery had been largely attended. A presentation had been made to Savage Alpers on tile occasion of his marriage, and a farewell supper had been given to tlie president on the ove of his departure for Great Britain.
