Tlio "v7angahui Harbour Board tonight agreed to Messrs Mannington and A Burnett being the representatives of the country and the town respectively on the Commission that is to be set up to define the rating area under the Wanganui Harbour Empowering Bill. The Bill, which is to authorise the raisine of £250,000 for harbour improvernfnts, was defeated last year, owing to country opposition to an inequitable ratine area The two representatives are to appoint a third as umpire.
