A MINISTER'S ASPIRATIONS. ATTEMPTING A DICTATORSHIP. (Received May 3, 11.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 3. Reuter's correspondent at Pekin states that there are growing indications that Tang-shao-yi is endeavouring to assume the practice of a dictatorship, relegating Yuan-shi-kai to the background. Tang-shao-yi demands unlimited funds with normal supervision. Shen-yuan, a fanatical Kansu leader of the bellicose native that he has beheaded his son for professing republicanism.
