THE DAVIS CUP. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, May 3. The Davis Cup Management Committee has decided that the challenge tio contests shall bo played in Melbourne, provided the challenging nation consents. ADDINGTON CLUB. The. annual meeting of the Addington Tenuis Club was held during the week, Dr Marks presiding over a Very goad attendance of members. Tho report and balancesheet, which were adopted, showed tho club to bo in a very prosperous position, both financially and otherwise. The following officers wero elected:—President, Mr H. Allison ; vice-presidents, Dr Marks and Messrs J. Munnings and H. Dillon; hon. secretary, Mr F. W. Cooper; lion, treasurer, Mr \V. Bowden; assistant hon. secretary, Miss M. Thompson; Ladies' Committee, Misses Shirtcliffe, Hughes, Dillon, F. Cooper, Bowden and Allison; General Committco, Dr Allison and Messrs J. Bowden, Jamieson, Earnshaw, E. P. Cooper, Jones and Atkinson; hon. auditor, Mr St. G. Atkinson. .
