The following were the entries at the Addington Yards on Wednesday, those for the previous week being given in parentheses:—Cattle 427 (405), sheep 18,273 (24,330), pigs 689 (427).
A record for the Medbury Railway. Station was made last Tuesday, when twenty-one double-decked sheep trucks were loaded with fat sheep and lambs besides-several grain trucks. Tho .special train reached the whole length of the railway siding. The sheep and lambs were all fattened within one milt? and a half of Tie Peaks school.
