The committee of the Canterbmj Industrial Association met on Wednesday .evening, Mr P. Members referred to tho unfailing courtesy with which he had carried out hi i duties. Mr J. B. Laurenson was appointed secretary in Mr Ford's place. It was reported that the o*penes in connection with Local WrK? Week, including advertising «"" VJ? report of the special committee, were considerable, but that donations received from members of tion would probably be amply sum cient to cover all expenses.
