J. A. Bnrtrum was permitted to surrender his temporary lease of Reserve 1543 on expiry. Isabella Titberidge, lessee of Sections 10 and 25, Tripp Settlement, was pernitted to reside on a freehold across Vaihi River.

John Langdon, lessee of Sections 35 md 17, Reserve 1261, Ashburton, asked to be permitted to allow Mre G. Thomson, who had bought his freehold, use his sections. . The permission was granted. J. S. Barker, lessee of Section 26, fiipp Settlement, was granted permis•ion to live on a purchased freehold dtc. and Georgo Moran, lessee of Lot 2. Sherwood Downs, was allowed ex•motinn from residence until July.

James F. Rudd was .permitted to ransfer ibis temporary license over Reserve 2718, Hawkins survey district, o Charles Rudd, his brother. . William Henry Hunt was allowed to surrender his small grazing run No. 03, which lie obtained in a ballot on March 1. His deposit of £55 lis was declared forfeited. D.
