STUDENTS CHRISTIAN UNION

[From Our Correspondent.] CAMBRIDGE, December 27. The Conference of the Australasian Students’ Christian Union will open hero to-morrow. Several have already arrived, and Mr Haslett (secretary) is preparing quarters for the main body. All told, there wall be about sixty women and fifty men. The former will be quartered in the public school, and the latter in the Young Men’s Christian Association gymnasium and sample rooms. .Tho delegates are divided approximately as follows: —Otago 30, Wellington 20, Canterbury 20, Auckland 35. If arrangements can be made, students will conduct services in the various churches on Monday. The inhabitants intend doing their utmost to entertain the students and give them ~ favourable impression of the town and district.
