OF CABSTANDS NEW STANDS APPUBLIG NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in pursuance of Clause IBG of “ The Christchurch City By-law No. 1, 1903, that all previous resolutions passed by the Christchurch City Council appointing the undermentioned places to be used as public stands for hackney carriages HAVE BEEN REVOKED, namely:— On the north triangle at the junction of High Strcot and Cashel Street (opposite Empire Hotel). On the south triangle trt the junction of | High Street and Colombo Strcot (opposite City Hotel). And Public Notice is hereby further given that tho Council has appointed the undermentioned places to bo used a 3 public stands for hackney carriages, namely: South side of Cashel Street, commencing 10 foet from tho east side of Manchester Street. • The number of carriages which may etand or ply for hire at or irom tho said stand is two. At lamp-post in Cashel Street, commencing 10 feot from the west Eide nf High Street. _ The number of carriages which may stand or ply for hire at or from tho said stand is two. In centre of Cashel Street, commencing 20 foet from the west sido of Colombo Street. The number of carriages which may stand or ply for hire at or from the said stand is two. (b) To wholly stop up Ross Street (formerly Murray Street), in Sydenham Ward.
