fPiui Association.l , 'WANGANUI, September 6. Tho Wanganui political campaign was opened here this evening by Air George Hutchison, an opponent of'the Government. Ihe Opera House was packed and tiie speaker had a very good hearing. He severely criticised tho AVard Government and evolved a scheme lor reconciliation of capital and labour, based on the adaptation of principles of co-operation to circumstances approaching those of co-partnership with Hnnted liability, so that while capital should be safeguarded labour should participate m tho profits. Ho explained lus proposal at considerable length.
