Mr Joseph Chamberlain has been elected vice-president of the Imperial Mission, whoso policy is to promote Imperialistic ideas in the Empire, to emphasise tho benefits of solidarity in commerce and defence, and to direct the current of emigration towards tho overseas dominions. Sir John Quick will form a Victorian branch, Sir John Forrest is president of tho Western Australian branch, Mr Manger will confer with Mr Dealcin with a view to promoting its interest with the Government ; and branches are being formed in Sydney and Adelaide.
