DR PEACOCK REMANDED

MELBOURNE, September 6
The editor and publisher of tho “Age” have been cited to show cause in connection with alleged contempt of court regarding the Peacock case. The Chief Justico declared that the action should have been taken against tho police for divulging the information. On the application of the police Dr Peacock was remanded for eight days on a charge of murdering the woman Davies.
