A message from Ottawa states that Mr R. L. Borden, the leader of the Opposition, is strenuously campaigning in tho eastern provinces. Ho claims that Sir Wilfred Laurier's influence is vanishing. THE PREMIER, ILL.
Sir Wilfred Lauricr has returned to Quebec from Ontario. The Premier is ill, as a result of seasickness when going to Prince Edward Island.
A DENIAL
Mr Perley, tho Conservative Whip, has issued an official denial to the statement that the United States trusts aro aiding tho Conservative campaign with funds. Mr Perley asserts that tho report is a trick of the Liberals, who are finding that tho campaign is against them.
