FAREWELL AT WELLINGTON. [Pek Press Association.] V,’ELLINGTON, March 4. There was a representative gathering of citizens at Thorndou station to say farewell to the Prime Minister and tho Hon Dr Findlay, who loft for Auckland at 12.15 on their way to London to attend the Coronation. _ All the Ministers, with tho exception of Mr Buddo, who remains in Wellington, and Mr Ngata, who has gone to the east coast, will accompany their two colleagues r.s far as Auckland, the ministerial party travelling in two reserved carriages, which formed part of the Main Trunk train as far as Paekakariki. At that station they were detached and coupled on to another engine. so as to enable stops to be made at tho various stations at which the express does not stop.

[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, March 5. All the members of the Cabinet, excepting the Hon A. T. Ngata, arrived by special train from Wellington this morning. A Cabinet silting will be held to-night, and a public farewell will he tendered to Sir Joseph W ard and Dr Findlay to-morrow afternoon, prior to their departure for the Coronation. The Mayor will present Sir .Joseph Ward with an address, and after the function a committee of representative citizens will accompany the Ministers to their steamer.
