NAPIER. June 16.
The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company to-day cabled the following report of the frozen meat market: —Mutton —The market is steady, but the value of lamb shows a decline. The supply of beef is more plentiful, and there is a considerable fall in values. To-day’s prices are:— Mutton—Canterbury -id, Napier, Wellington and North Island 3Jd; lamb, first quality of d, second quality figd; beef—hindquarters 4d, forequarters 3Sd.
