The Christchurch Ladies’ Golf Club plaja£ a handicap medal match at the Shirley links yesterday, the winner being Miss Cowlishaw, In the junior competition Mrs Donald and Mrs Sims tied for first place. To-morrow afternoon tho final of the match for Mrs A. E. Or. Rhodes's prize will bo played between Mrs Donald and Mias Phyllis. Anderson. Afternoon tea will be provided by Mr* Boy-e. Tho first medal competition of the Temuka Golf C.ub, played on Saturday, was won by W. Poarse (2) 99. The next in order were J. Pearce (6) 91. H. Bradmorc (scr) 94, B. Asoinall (G) 94, P. Acheson (32) 34 and M. M'Leod (14) 94. Nino others competed.
