A MEMORIAL TO KING EDWARD. United Press As-ocietion—By Electrio T olograph—Copyright. (Received Juno IG, 12.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 15. Tho newspaper “ Standard of Empire ” strongly supports the Australian Bush Nursing memorial to King Edward. It says that no tribute could bo more fitting to King Edward’s life or welcome to Queen Alexandra. King Edward’s, activities for the King’s Hospital fund proved that ho would prefer such a scheme befioro any statues. Canada with similar needs had accomplished much, hut nothing finer than this scheme. Sir Gcorgo Reid, in an interview, detailed Lady Dudley’s inception of the scheme. Tho association of the work with King Edward’s memory was particularly happy and appropriate.
