COMMUNICATION WITH THE MAKURA. United Pre-w Association—By Elcctrio Telegraph—Cop-v-right. SYDNEY, Juno 13. Mr Pike, the Arncliffe wireless operator, picked up the Makura 900 miles off and kept her in communication. (Received Juno 13, 10 p.m.) The Makura kopt up wireless communication with Vancouver over a distance of 2080 miles. The messages towards the close were somewhat weak.
