George Sydney KennaTd (Mr Donnelly), charged with having committed an indecent assault, upon a married woman on the previous day, was, on the application of Chief Detective Bishop, remanded till the following Friday. Bail was allowed on the accused's own recognisance for £SO and two sureties of £25 6ach. Maintenance. ~ Edwin H. T. Wood did not appear in answer to a charge that he had neglected to comply with an order reauiring him to pay 10s per week towards the support of his wife, being £3O 5s in arrears. The Magistrate sentenced defendant to two months' imprisonment. —Robert dime (Mr M'Connel) was sentenced to two months' imprisonment for disobedience of an order requiring him to contribute 5s per week towards the support of his illegitimate child.
