It was resolved to grant tho Usual bonuses to tho officers of the club. The following recommendations to the committee were carried:—That steps should be taken with the object of reducing the size oi fields in bracelet event?; that whoro increases in stakes were decided ou, they should be spread over tho wholo programme, m place of devoting the largest proportion to the races already well endowed; that, at future elections thcro should be no special mark on tho ballot papers indicating l who were tho reliring members, and that the occupations and addresses of all candidates should bo given.

A motion was carried recording- appreciation of the services rendered to the club by tho late Mr V. Harris, and electing Mrs if arris a life member. Notice of motion was given by Mr Y. 3. Barlow to rescind tho rule dealing with the mode of election of office-bearers, and to insert a. new rule vesting the power of election in the members present at the annual meeting. Votes of thanks were passed to the officers for their services during the past year.
