ALL SAINTS’ KILLINCHY.

The annual meeting of parishioners of All Saints’ Church, Killinchy, was held on Saturday, the Rev H. Williams presiding. There was a good attendance.

The warden’s report, which was adopted, stated that the general account showed a credit balance of 19s 4d, which was considered satisfactory. The churchyard account showed a credit balance of 211 10s. '

The following officers were elected:—, Bishop’s warden, Mr J. A. Callaghan; people’s warden, Mr H. A. Meredith; vestry, Messrs A. Glassey, R. Glassoy and W. Chappell.

ST PETER’S, AKAROA: Tire annual meeting of parishioners of St Peter’s Church, Akaroa, was held in the Akaroa 1 Borough Chambers on Thursday evening. There was a small attendance. In the absence of the vicar, the Rev A. H. Julius, Mr C. W. Leete, warden, presided. The report, which stated that - the work, of the church had been well maintained during the past year, and the balance-sheet, showing that the receipts had been £295 17s 6d, and the expenditure £322 ss, were adopted.

The following office-bearers wore elected:—Warden, Mr C. W. Leete; vestry, Messrs G. V. J. Armstrong,' A. H. Westenra, W. Williams, E. H. Withey, James Wright, G. Mulcoek, H. Mottram, G. W. Thomas and L. M’lntosh and Dr M’Reddie. Hearty votes of thanks were passed to tlie organist, the choir and the Sunday School teachers.

: v ST PETER’S. TEMUKA. The annual meeting of pariehionerd.of St Peter’s Church, Temuka, was held on Tuesday evening, the vicar, the Rev J. M. Adcock, presiding. The report mentioned the valuable help of Messrs Wallace, W. Stewart, W. P. Routledge. Twpntyman, Boulter, Orford and Bartrop as lay readers, and stated that during the year there had beeft twirty-four baptisms, five marriages and four burials. The balance, sheet showed receipts £470 lls 9d, and expenditure £491 9s Bd,'leaving a debit balance of £2O 17s lid. The debt on the parish hall bad been reduced to £136, and the total indebtedness of the parish was £625, as against £684 in the previous year. Regret was expressed at the resignation of Mrs W. H. Brown, who had been organist for the past six years. The thanks of the congregation were due, to the choirmaster '(Mr Rutland), the choir, the Sunday School teachers, and the Girls’ Friendly Society. The report was adopted. Officers were elected as 'follows:— Vicar’s warden, Mr G. L. Twentyman; people’s warden, Mr W. F. Evans; vestry, Messrs J. Talbot, W. P. Routledge, W. Stewart, C. Bates, F. Saunders, R. B. Comer, C. Mahan and W. G. Rutland, Dr Crawshaw and Dr Curtis. At the close of the meeting musical items were given by Dr Curtis, Messrs W. G. Rutland, W. Pearee' V. Coira and B. Coira, Mis 6 Gapper, Mrs James and the choir. .
