[Per Press Association-.] WELLINGTON. April 28. At the Supreme Court Charles Baker, whose case formed an interesting phase of the session of the Appellate Court last week, was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment. Baker wrote to friends in Wauganui giving particulars as to the way to dynamite safes. The following additional sentences were passed at the Supreme Court:— John Gordon Gooder, theft from the person, three months’ imprisonment; William H. Doreen, nine months’ imprisonment, and Alfred Doreen, six months’ imprisonment, on three charges of theft from a dwelling at Napier; Herbert Barron, breaking and enter-' ing, three months’ imprisonment; William Jame 3 Miles, theft of a trap and harness at Waverley, admitted to probation for two years and ordered to make restitution.
