EARTHQUAKE.
HEAVY SHOCKS IN PORTUGAL. GREAT DAMAGE IN LISBON. United Press Association—By Eleotrio Telegraph—Copyright, (Received April 25, 4 p.m.) LISBON, April 24. An, alarming earthquake occurred in Portugal. Tho shock was felt from Algarve to Oporto. Much damage was caused and several persons were injured. The most violent oscillation occurred in Lisbon. Burning coals from the kitchen range of a houso in the lower part of tho city started a fire, which the fire brigades extinguished.
