MAIL NOTICES.

Letter mails close ior the following place* as under, subject to the necessary alterations:— Mails per Express to Dunedin and South close daily at 7 a.m. and 11,10 a.m.; late fee (i.», letters bearing Id additional stamp) 11.25 a.m.; also mail van up to 8 a.m. aud 11.55 a.m. Books and newspapers, 7 a.m. and 10.10 a.ni FRIDAY, JULY 19. For Dunedin, per Warrimoo, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 8.15 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. Eor Northern Ports and Westport, also Australian States, etc. (due in Sydney July 24), and Sopth Africa, per Maheno, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. For Northern Porta and Westport, also Australian States, etc., to connect with Maheno, per Rotomahana, at 4.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 4.30 p.m.; guard’s van, 5.25 p.m. train. SATURDAY, JULI 20. For Australian States, etc. (due in Melbourne July 27) and South Africa, per express, to connect with Warrimoo, at 11.10 a.m.; late fee letters, 11,25 a.m.; guard’s van, 11.55 a.m. train. For Dunedin direct, also Australian States, etc., to connect with Warnmoo, per Zealandia., at 1.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.45 p.m. train. For Northern Ports and Westport, per Waikare, at 7.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 7.25 p.m.; guard’s van, 10.55 p.m. train. The next mail from the "United Kingdom is due in Christchurch on July 23, via Brindisi. The next moil for the United Kingdom, via Naples closes at Christchurch on July 25, and is due in London on September 3. Mails for United Kingdom, etc., via Brindisi, despatched from Christchurch on June 1, arrived in London on July 14, due date. Commencing Thursday, July 25. mails for the Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, etc., via Suez, will be despatched weekly, leaving Christchurch each Thursday and connecting with P, and O. or Orient mail leaving Sydney the following Tuesday. These mails are due in London tnirty-seven days after despatch from Christchurch. Mails from the United States and Canada, via Vancouver, are duo in Chrirstchurch about July 24, and parcels from United States, ex Indian Monarch, abaut July 25.
