The tpal in connection with the Standard Oil Company is proceeding. The disclosures of Mr Findlay (Ohio) suggest that the trust had begun to create foreign hoarding companies for tho purpee© of evading Federal or • State laws. Mr Cuthhert, president of the Manhattan Oil Company, which fs a subsidiary concern of tho Standard Oil Company, testifying under a promise by the Court of immunity from prosecution, declared that the General Industrial Development Company, Limited, England, was owned by hie company. He had' not seen anybody connected with the Industrial Company, but had remitted them money.
