Two teams of Nov," Zealand bowlers played the East Brisbane and South Brisbane Clubs respectively, to-day. New Zealand won- both matches* the former by 101 to 94 and the latter by 96 to 94. (Received October 12, 10.44 p.m.) In the East Brisbane- match, Wheeler, Thomas, Gillies and Manning (New Zealand) beat Hodgson, Robertson, Scott and M’Dougal by 26 to 20. Court, Clark, Dali and Mowlem (Now Zealand) beat Dooherty, Wilson, Reis and M’Gavem, 33 to 26. Fowles, Campbell, Arnold and Lewis (Queensland) beat Bastings, Waters, Hancock and Taylor (Now Zealand) 25 to 22. Black, Parry, Conochio and Harley (Queensland) beat Heast, M’Pherson, Arkhurst and Sneddon (New Zealand), 23 to 20.

In the South Brisbane match, Cooper, Scott, Buchanan and M’Laren (New Zealand) 19 played Bulcock, Davidson, Bobinson and Quinlan. 19. Bee, Lefevro, M’Gibhon and Waddell (New Zealand) beat Street, M’Pherson, Macmillan and Cock burn, 26 to 25. Darren, Carmichael, Logan and Copeland (Queensland) beat Bouskill, Gardner, Rankin and Osmond (New Zealand), 36 to 19. Payne, Smith, Jackson and Reid beat Barnett, Quaid, Lang and Bouchard, 32 to 14.

The Lees ton Bowling Club opened the season on Wednesday afternoonj when there was a large attendance cl members, and visitors were also present from Invell, Dunsaudel and Brookside.
