'Among tho arrivals in Christchurch yesterday were Mr and Mrs V C. Mack Jost (London),, Messrs J. C. Burns (Wellington), 0. M’Masters (Auckland), W. 0. Rutherford and T. Medlicott. Dr Crawford, Colonel Loveday, Air F. do C. Alalot, and Air W. H. P. Barber, AI.H.R., arrived from Wellington by th© s.e. Mararoa yesterday. Mr A. Hamilton, director of the Colonial Museum, is in Christchurch. Air Claude F. Corlett, well-kimwn as a journalist, died at Dunedin yester-, day, aged seventy. He held the position ot manager of the Christchurch “Press” for a number of years. Mr Turton, late_ manager of the Mount Tori esse Station and Birch-jhill, Wairau Valley, has been appointed manager of th© St Helen’s Station, and will commence his duties next month. Hie Rev J.
