[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, January 3. 'A daring robbery was perpetrated on the premises of Mrs James Henderson,' near the Parnell entrance of the Domain, the house being entered on Now Year’s Evo through in open front door, while the family and some friends were in the drawingroom, the doors or which were also open. Mrs Henderson’s room was ransacked by the thief, and a large collection of diamond rings and other jewellery, with about £2O in cash, representing a total value of at least £loo, were taken. At the Police-Court to-day William and Henry Green appeared to answer a charge of violently robbing an eldcily man named Charles Fagan, on January i in the Auckland Domain.- CiuelDetective Marsack asked for a weeks remand. The Bench, in granting the remand, fixed bail on each of the accused at two sureties of £IOO.
