A CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER DISMISSED.

[Per Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, December 22. J. L. Whittingham was before the bench of Justices of Gore to-day on a charge of manslaughter arising out of the death of Mrs "Win-sloe in a collision between accused’s trap and a motor-car in the main street of Gore. The Bench decided that the evidence did not disclose sufficient cause for sending "Whittingham for trial by a jury, and dismissed the charge.
