OBITUARY.
MR WILLIAM CONE
Mr William Cone, an early colonist and old settler in the Ashley district, died at Raugiora yesterday, after a brief illness. Mr Cone took no part in public affairsj but was highly esteemed by all his friends and acquaintances. He was twice married, and leaves a widow, but no children.
