FURTHER PARTICULARS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.

PORT DARWIN, December 18.

Further news regarding the, massacre of the crew of a launch, by natives, states that the other whites strongly objected to Bradshaw knocking the irons off' the blacks. After some altercation, Bradshaw got his own way, and the party went to sleep'. Apparently no watch was kept, and late in the evening “ Bobby,” a black boy who escaped, saw the prisoners kill Skeahan and Dannock. Almost simultaneously Eggeroff and a native in the engine-room were killed. Bradshaw, who was awakoned by the noise, was struck down by a tomahawk. “Bobby” was twelve nights in reaching a station, which places the date of the tragedy approximated oii November 23. (News was received at Port Darwin on Sunday of a massacre at Victoria River. It was believed that the blacks' attacked a Government bore party, killing two. The bore party captured and chained seven or eight natives. Bradshaw’s launch artived shortly after the massacre, and , undertook to convey the natives to Port Darwin. Shortly after leaving, Bradshaw had the irons removed. The natives immediately attacked and murdered the whole crew excepting a black boy. The’ victims were Bradshaw, Eggeroff, Dannook and Skeahan, and four black boys.)
