TERRY’S SENTENCE COMMUTED. " [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, December 18. Lionel Terry, the self-accused murderer of the Chinaman in Haining Street, for which crime he was sentenced to death, was informed this morning that the sentence had been commuted to imprisonment for life. He showed no concern at the intimation. ■
