The total for the thirty-third week of th© New Zealand egg-laying competition is 1979, making th© grand aggregat© 60,781, and the weekly average per pen 19.79. Hie highest layings for the week are:—Mr Steel, of Picton, ‘3l; Father Servajeon, Blenheim, SI; Mr Edelsten, of Motueka, 31; Messrs King and Bishell, of Blenheim, 30, all White Leghorns. The order of merit in the grand aggregate runs as follows, all the pens being White Leghorns:—Mr Leger, of Levin, 956; Mr Brooke, of South Australia, 862; Marlborough Agricultural and Pastoral Association, 852; Mr M. Shaw, of Blenheim, 841; Mr Jonathan Hudson, of Blenheim, 822.
