A FATAL COLLISION.

[Per Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, December 15. The- Coroner’s inquest touching the death of Mrs Margaret Winsloo, who was fatally injured by tho shaft of a light cart, which came into collision, with a motor-car in wliich she was riding, in Gore, concluded to-day, the j ury finding that deceased met her death by being struck by the shaft of a trap driven by John Whittingham, and that Whittingham did not exercise sufficient care in the management of tho horse. No blame was attached’to the driver of the motor. Whittingham will be charged to-morrow with manslaughter. Mr Winsloo admitted that the collision might have- been avoided if the driver of the motor had kept nearer the kerb. 1
