Hoad Board Notices. EICCA'ETON ROAD BOARD. A SPECIAL MEETING- of the BIOCAR. TON ROAD BOARD will bo held at the Board's Office, Fendalton, on FRIDAY, the 17th day of November, 1905, at tho hour of 7 p.nu, for the purpose of confirming as a Special Order tile resolution passed by the Board at a Special Heeling held on the 13th of October, 1905, to the following effect:— “That for the purpose of providing the interest at the rate of 44 per centum per annum, and other charges on Loans of £960 and £930 respectively, authorised. to b® raised by the Biccarton Road Board under tho provisions of ‘ The Local Bodies Loan Act,. 1901,’for tho construction of Concrete Channels on Roads on and bounding part of E.S. 163, East of Railway Line, and on and bounding B.S. 10. : The said Board propose- to make and levy; Special Rates of 23-100. of a penny in the £, and 38-IGO of a penny in the £, on the ratable valuation of all ratable properties on tho above-mentioned portion of R'.'S. 163 and R.S., 10 respectively. ' Such Special Rates to be annually recurring rates, payable half-yearly on the first day of °March and the . first day of September during the currency of such loans, being a period of 33 years, or until the said loans are fully paid off. A Copy of the proposed Special, Order is deposited at the Board's Office, and is open to the public for inspection during office hours. Dated this 18th day of October/ 1905. S. A. STAPLES.
