[Per Press Association.] . DUNEDIN, October 23. The frame of the County of Ayr has been largely stripped of plates and diemasted. The vessel" is visible from the shore. Cargo ; s being washed ashore near tho mouth of Shag River, It is reported that a four-masted steamer was seen at the same place three weeks ago. . ~ ' In connection with the loss, of th«j barquo County of Ayr, Messrs; Reese and Budd ; who represent' the Tasmanian shippers, state that the timber that was on boaid the vessel ,was shipped to New Zealand on consignment, and was insured. ’, •;
