MACEDONIA.
A PROTEST BY THE PORTE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright! LONDON, October 23. The Porte, in a fresh Note, protests against the presence in Macedonia of financial controllers trespassing on the Sultan’s rights and interests. The Powers are preparing a joint ultimatum. If this should be fruitless, they will then make a united naval demonstration.
