The Rev Father O’Connell left fop Timaru by the second express train on Saturday. The Rev 0. 0. Oldham (Waihao Downs), Mr B. H. Tripp (Orari Gorge) and Mr L. White (Rakaia) were passengers by tho second express train for the south on Saturday. The Hon E. C. J. Stevens arrived from Wellington by tho s.s. Rot&> mahana on Saturday. Mr G. Sir George Clifford, Captain Masefield and Mr Gilbert Anderson arived from Wellington by the s.s. Pateena yesterday. Miss Jessie Maclachlan, with Messrs Buchanan and M’Linden, arrived from Wellington yesterday by the s.s. pateena. . ■
