PRESENTATIONS.

: ——— A social to bid good-bye to Mr ant» Mrs George Robertson and family, who are leaving the Winchmore district for South Canterbury, was held at Winchmore on Monday evening, when there was a large attendance. During the evening several presentations were made to the guests. At the Oddfellows’ Hall, Kaiapoi, on Friday evening a complimentary farewell concert was tendered to Mr and Mrs E. Feldwick, on the occasion of their leaving Kaiapoi, after a residence extending over forty years. During an interval, the Mayor (Mr A. Pearce),, on behalf of the citizens, presented to Mr and Mrs Feldwick a handsome wardrobe and a large mirror. Mr Feldwick thanked the Mayor, and said that (he valuable present would always remind Mrs Feldwick and himself of the happy years spent in Kaiapoi. On Friday evening, at Islington,' a farewell smoke social was tendered to Mr Frederick Baty, on the eve of his departure for America. For the past three years he has been connected with the freezing works, and the complimentary remarks made and the presentation of a handsome travelling bag bare testimony to his popularity.
