[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, June 12. A meeting of the fruiterers of Auckland having been. addressed by Mr G. W. Bayliss, of the Wellington Shopkeepers’ Association, who has visited the centres of the colony, arranging for united action to influence Parliament in the revision of the Shops Act, agreed to join with the Southerners by sending two representatives with" the deputation to Parliament.
