[Per Press Association.] GISBORNE; June 22. Father Hays, temperance lecturer, gave his first address at Gisborne tonight, there being a great crowd of all denominations, and many were unable to gain admission. The Mayor presided. The proceedings were marked with enthusiasm, and over 400 took the pledge.
