It is stated that Mr Alfred Austin, j pcet laureate, is about to visit New I Zealand. Mr M'Lachlan, M.H.R., was a pas- j senger by the second express for Ash- '■ burton on Saturday. | Mr Justice Chapman and the Rev H. Bull arrived from Wellington by the s.s. Mararoa on Saturday morning. j Major Johnson was a passenger for Wellington by tho Mararoa, on Satur- j day evening. Sir George Clifford, the Hon George M'Lcan. Drs Levinge and Bell, and Mr P. Campbell arrived from Welling- , ton by the Rotomahana yesterday. j Dean Foley,, who has been at the Rotorua Sanatorium for some months, is making satisfactory progress towards complete recovery..
