MONTGOMERY'S ENTERTAINERS.

On Saturday, in the Canterbury Hail, Montgomery's Entertainers will open a short season of bright and sparkling entertainments. Mr 'Montgomery will be well remembered in Christchuroh for his attractive ballads, which made him. very popular in the city. On the present occasion he will produce a number of new ballads, the. illustrations of which have been described as the fiaeet yet seen in New Zealand. Ze.no, in his juggling act, has earned high - praise wherever he lias appeared. Referring to the company's biograph, the Auckland " Herald " says that it is the clearest and! steadiest that has been shown in that city, while the numerous and varied subjects are worked by the latest mechanism, procured at the St Louis Exhibition. The American train robbery, the film of which is over 1000 feet long, contain* six'een scenes, and is a very fine piece of animated photographic work.
